/// Our Mission ///

“Changing the world one life at a time through Jesus Christ”

/// Our Core Values ///

theMovement exists to bring people into a solidified relationship with Jesus Christ, helping them build unified relationships with each other in order to release diversified leaders that impact the world.

These three values (being Solidified in Christ, Unified with His Body,and Diversified for the World) dictate everything we do at theMovement, and are derived from the "Two Greats" in the Word:  "the Great Commandment" and "the Great Commission."

 "The Great Commandment" says:

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind [Solidified in Christ]. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself [Unified with His Body]. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets.”
-Matthew 22.36

Since all the law and the prophets, Jesus said, depend on these two commands, we as well have hinged our church and vision on these commands.  Additionally, we look to the other "Great" in the word, "the Great Commission":

"Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations [Diversified for the World], baptizing them inthe name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
-Matthew 28.18-20

The awesome thing about this passage is the result we see of being Diversified for the World.  When you read the phrase "teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you," it is realized that the point of being Diversified for the World is to help bring people into a "Solidified relationship with Jesus Christ."  Then of course, their next step is becoming "Unified with His Body" so that they, too, can become "Diversified for the World."  And thus this gospel lifestyle and Kingdom advancement continues on and on, well past our time and beyond.

Additionally, here are a few "review" questions to help examine your own relationship with the Lord and how you are fulfilling "the Great Commandment" and "the Great Commission."

Worship as a lifestyle:
      How am I honoring God in my daily life?

Reading my bible:             What am I learning from God’s word?

Sharing my faith:              Who am I trying to reach for Christ?

Belonging to the family:  Who is my small group of believers?

Being a godly steward:     Am I giving God my best?

Serving others:                  What am I doing to show my faith?

Impact my community:      Who am I influencing through Christ?
