1 “EVERYONE who thirsts, COME to the WATERS; And you who have no money COME, buy grain and eat. COME, buy wine and milk Without money and without cost [simply accept it as a gift from God]

  1. COME TO THE WATERS SEEKING

2 “Why do you spend money for that which is not bread, And your earnings for what does not satisfy?

– ISAIAH 55:2 

2 Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight in abundance.

– ISAIAH 55:2

6 SEEK the Lord while He may be found

– ISAIAH 55:6

44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him [giving him the desire to come to Me];

– JOHN 6:44 

7 Deep calls to deep at the [thundering] sound of Your waterfalls;
All Your breakers and Your waves have rolled over me.

– PSALM 42:7

1 “I let Myself be sought by those who did not ask for Me; I let Myself be found by those who did not seek Me. I said, ‘Here am I, here am I,’ To the nation [Israel] which did not call on My Name.

  1. COME TO THE WATERS CALLING

6 CALL on Him [for salvation] while He is near.

– ISAIAH 55:6

18 The Lord is near to all who call on Him, To all who call on Him in truth (without guile).

– PSALM 145:18 

12 Then you will CALL on Me and you will come and PRAY to Me, and I will hear [your voice] and I will listen to you. 13 Then [with a deep longing] you will SEEK Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you SEARCH for Me with ALL YOUR HEART.

– JEREMIAH 29:12-13

18 The Lord is near to the heartbroken And He saves those who are crushed in spirit (contrite in heart, truly sorry for their sin). 19 Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous, But the Lord rescues him from them all.

– PSALM 34:18-19

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

ASK:
What areas of my life am I still desiring greater victory in?

Do I have exercise the discipline of beating a path to God? Are there other things I turn to before I turn to God?

READ: ISAIAH 55:6; PSALM 145:18; JEREMIAH 29:12-13; PSALM 34:18-19; MATTHEW 11:28-30

ASK:
Do I see God as being near or me having to work to be near to Him?

Am I willing to come to Him by seeking and calling upon Him as the only hope of being my help?

How am I going to answer the call today to come seeking and calling Him in a new, deeper way?

PRAY:
Jesus thank you for being near. Thank you for paying the price for my life only you could pay. Forgive me for turning to anything or anyone other than you for satisfying my needs. Today, I come to you with ALL MY HEART and give it to you.
