16 As Jesus was walking by the shore of the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon [Peter] and Simon’s brother, Andrew, casting a net in the sea; for they were fishermen. 17 And Jesus said to them, “Follow Me [as My disciples, accepting Me as your Master and Teacher and walking the same path of life that I walk], and I will make you fishers of men.” 18 Immediately they left their nets and followed Him [becoming His disciples, believing and trusting in Him and following His example].

RHYTHMS OF LIVIN’ TAKES INTENTIONAL PRACTICE
17 Those people are zealous to win you over, but for no good. What they want is to alienate you from us, so that you may have zeal for them. 18 It is fine to be zealous, provided the purpose is good, and to be so always, not just when I am with you. 19 My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is FORMED IN YOU, 20 how I wish I could be with you now and change my tone, because I am perplexed about you!

SPIRITUAL FORMATION IS A PROCESS OF BECOMING THROUGH PRACTICE
19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever PRACTICES and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

PRAY:
Jesus, thank you for giving me the example of how to live. Thank you for making yourself 100% available to me before I make any decision to follow you. Forgive me thinking I could save myself. Forgive me for allowing other things to be the greater influence of my spiritual formation. Today, I commit to placing my life IN your hands. Here I am, transform me to be 100% who it is you created me to be.
